The stage is set and the red carpet as been rolled out for the ace cricketer Harbhajan Singh to walk down the aisle with his lady love Geeta Basra at a glittering ceremony to be held on October 29 at Club Cabana in the city.
The cricketer arrived in the city today and began doing the last-minute preparations for the wedding along with his family members.
Geeta’s family, too, has reportedly arrived from London for making the last-minute preparations for the big occasion.
The guest list is reported to have the who’s who of the Bollywood and the sports world, including Yuvraj Singh, Anil Ambani, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Virat Kohli etc. Some South African cricketers have also reportedly been invited, but the list may get curtailed due to the ongoing unrest in the state.
According to a family friend, all events have been kept behind closed doors. While around 50 rooms were booked from Bhajji’s wedding at Club Cabana, these were not reserved on the name of the guests.
