LongHouse Reserve Will Open For Season

In the coming season, LongHouse Reserve, East Hampton's beloved acre sculpture garden and nature reserve, will display significant new works of art including two large scale sculptures by Maren Hassinger and three by Wyatt Kahn, plus a special exhibition curated by Glenn Adamson and designed by Colin King.

Bay Street Theater and Guild Hall, in association with Jamie Cesa and Bel Chiasso Entertainment present a free concert staged reading of The Romeo & Juliet Project, a new musical, featuring the music of Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, with book by Bradley Bredeweg. This FREE community event will be held in Mashashimuet Park in Sag Harbor, NY on August 16 and 17 at 7 pm and is the latest installment of Bay Street's ongoing Under the Stars Community Outreach Program. The performance is directed by Scott Schwartz, Bay Street Theater's Artistic Director.

Barbara Slifka, a former fashion editor at Harper’s Bazaar, has been selected to the Guggenheim’s board of trustees, according to a press release from the museum. The decision was made at a December 14th board meeting.
Ms. Slifka worked for Harper’s Bazaar for more than 40 years and is president of the Joseph and Sylvia Slifka Foundation, which has supported Guggenheim exhibitions like “The Great Upheaval: Modern Art from the Guggenheim Collection, –”(), “Broken Forms: European Modernism from the Guggenheim Collection” (–11), and “Paris and the Avant-Garde: Modern Masters from the Guggenheim Collection”().
